The Challenge

Promote the Pharmacy First initiative at Superdrug, highlighting  its pharmacists’ expertise to the consumer.

The Solution

We orchestrated a photoshoot of the first patient to use the Pharmacy First service on launch day, capturing  media-worthy imagery for press. 


Before and throughout the campaign we secured broadcast, national and trade media opportunities to speak with Superdrug’s Pharmacy Superintendent to provide commentary on the service and the seven conditions, making sure Superdrug was leading the Pharmacy First conversation.


To keep momentum going for the service, we’re continuing to generate expert-led news stories that link with one of the seven conditions as part of the service.

  • 55 pieces of mainstream national media coverage including ITV News, The Economist The Independent and Chemist + Druggist.
